riverfront campsites at woods and river rv park in del norte colorado
  • What a beautiful place! We stayed at Woods and River mid-July, and have nothing but great things to say about this place! Most of the sites are quite large, with lots of shade trees and a fire pit. There are sidewalks and gazebos along the river, and plenty of places to take your pups for a walk. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and it is very apparent how well they take care of their park and their customers. We will definitely be back!

  • Most enjoyable campground we have ever used. Right on edge of Del Norte but feeling of being miles out in the woods. Plenty of room between sitesjust be aware of boulders while driving in and out. They are easy to avoid if you watch and allow plenty of room. The Rio Grande River is beautiful and peaceful. You can truly feel Gods creation all around you. We will definitely be back.

  • Stayed along the river at far back. Walking trail and river just outside our rig. Absolutely beautiful. Quiet. Free firewood. Spacious sites.

  • Clean, kid friendly, great service, beautiful scenery. We camped at Woods and River RV Park in a Motorhome.

  • My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. We were only here for 1 night, This was a great stop and would have enjoyed staying longer. The park was clean, staff friendly all utilities worked great. We will try and stay here again sometime.

  • "Right on the Rio Grande river, this park is close to town, yet quiet and wooded. The sites are mostly pull through, flat, with lots of thoughtful touches like lights on the electric poles, structures for congregation out of the sun, concrete walking paths and super clean restrooms. Owners and staff are super friendly. This "park is well thought out and a great value."

  • "Very clean, well maintained park. Lots of shade trees, and the Rio Grande is right in camp. Nice walking path all around the campground, and you can continue into the neighboring city park. Very nice people, excellent laundry facilities, and nice little town"

    -Next Ridge

  • "Sites were spacious, we had a sun shade and picnic table, plus fire pit. Had a lovely park for the kids, including a zip line and bikes that they can use. On the river with an incredible walking/biking path that connects to City Park."

  • Extremely well cared for and maintained RV park. The large trees along the river spots provide ample shading and beautiful scenery. Peaceful, pleasant, and quiet atmosphere. Check in was simple, staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful place to visit!

  • "Very scenic with the Rio Grande River about 100 ft from our campsite. The campground was very well maintained and had modern showers and bathrooms. All in all a very nice facility. Highly recommend. "
